LaPorte varsity boys volleyball fell to Chesterton in 3 sets 19-25, 11-25, 15-25. Javier Magana, Slade Rain, and Bryce Jones led the team defensively. Cai Lile led the team in assists while Graham Kitkowski and Isaiah Hurt did a great job offensively. LaPorte JV crushed Chesterton in 2 sets. 25/13 & 25/13. Gabe Martinez had several aggressive plays at the net while Miguel Jacuinde and Nick Perra led in overall kills. Diego Jacuinde-Medina led in assists while also leading the team in defense along with Jordan Rivera and Derek Villalba-Vera. The team found their stride tonight with excellent cover and overall defense. The team will be back at it on Monday the 20th @ 5:00pm in Crown Point.
