LaPorte varsity Boys Volleyball to Valpo in three sets 10-25, 14-25, 15-25. Dimitrius Staggers led the team offensively in kills while Jace Pickford led the team with 3 aces. Javier Magana led the team defensively with 8 digs. The JV team had an intense battle against Valpo, fighting through 3 sets. 25/17, 19/25, 10/15. Although they fell short, many long rallies and tough plays were made, creating a nail-biter to watch. Leading the team on defensive digs, both on and off the net, were Xavier Vinson, Jordan Rivera, and Will Garcia. Offensively, Wrigley Painton showed some impressive blocks while Miguel Jacuinde-Medina played extremely aggressive in attacks, showing us the excitement to come throughout the season.
