LaPorte Girls Track and Field had a fantastic showing at the 3/14 IWU HSR Qualifier, including many personal records. Top results were as follows: 3200m Run- Caylin VanShoyck (11:48.37) 5th Place *Currently ranked 34th in the Large School State rankings, Vivian Leniski (12:52.25) 14th Place 60m Dash- Kyria Zapala (8.27) 11th Place 4x200m Relay- Kyria Zapala, Piper Cushway, Lana Schable, Olivia Yuhasz (1:55.65) 12th Place Distance Medley Relay- Vivian Leniski, Samantha Best, Madalyn Kreamer, Caylin VansShoyck (13:40.52) 4th Place *Currently ranked 36th in the Large School State rankings. Pole Vault- Anna Beck (7’6”) 8th Place Shot Put- Rae Dawsey (31-03.5) 12th Place LPGTF is very excited to see what these ladies are able to continue to accomplish as the season continues!
