Slicers Gymnastics Wins Against Michigan City 99.6 - 92.975 moving their record to 5-4 overall and 2-4 in the DAC. Evie Travis won all events scoring 8.85 on vault, 7.8 on bars with a two great saves, a season high 9.45 on beam, 8.75 on floor, and 34.85 all-around. Kate Doty was 2nd on bars 7.3, beam 8.775, floor 8.65, and all-around 33.3 and 3rd on vault 8.575. Makenna Minnick was 4th on vault 8.35 and beam 8.3, 5th on floor 7.725, and 1st for Team 2 on bars 5.675. Genny Witulski was 6th on vault 8.1, 7th on beam 7.425, and 2nd for Team 2 on bars 5.575. Molly Thibideau was 8th on bars 6.175, 5th on beam with a season high of 8.15, 6th on floor 7.15, and 1st on vault for Team 2 with a 8.0. Maddie Johnson was 6th on vault tying with Witulski, 6th on bars 6.775, 8th on floor 6.975, and 1st on beam for Team 2 7.65. Jules Schadt was 7th on vault 7.95, 10th on bars 5.65, and 9th on floor 6.925. For Team 2 Marlee Dhoore was 2nd on vault 7.55, beam 6.45, and 1st on floor 6.725. The Slicers are continuing to make improvements by cleaning up their skills and difficulty. They host Lake Central next Wednesday for their final home meet of the season. Great job ladies!
