LaPorte Gymnastics lost to Valparaiso 93.825 - 109.525. Junior Evie Travis placed on all event tonight against a tough Valpo team. She was 2nd on vault 9.0, 5th on bars 7.7 and beam 8.225, 3rd on floor 9.3, and 4th all-around 340.225. Junior Genny Witulski was 8th on vault 7.95, 9th on bars 5.575, and 9th on beam 7.6. Freshman Makenna Minnick was 7th on vault 8.225, 10th on bars 5.275, 8th on beam 7.675, 8th on floor 8.4, and 6th all-around ]29.275. Freshman Molly Thibideau was 11th on vault 7.575, 8th on bars 6.1, 10th on beam 5.85, 11th on floor 6.975, and 7th all-around 26.5. Freshman Maddie Johnson was 9th on vault 7.925, 7th on bars 6.75, and 9th on floor 7.2. She was 3rd on beam for Team 2 7.45. For Team 2 Freshman Marlee Dhoore was 5th on vault 7.2 7th on beam 6.325. She was 10th on floor for Team 1 7.175. The Slicers were without sophomore Kate Doty tonight due to illness. The Slicers host Portage Thursday, January 22 at 6pm.
