The Slicers Girls Swimming and Dive team beat the Portage Indiana 100-76 in a tough meet. Our girls stepped up and really got the job done against a team that was pretty much evenly matched on paper. LaPorte opened the meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay with: Cali Hatala (backstroke), Grace Caviston (breaststroke), Noor Hakim (butterfly), and Isabel Barron (freestyle). Grace Caviston raced next and won the 200 Freestyle in a lifetime best time. Caviston also won the 100 Freestyle in another lifetime best time! Cali Hatala won the 200 Individual Medley. Michelle Clark continued her winning ways in diving. Isabel Barron won the 500 Freestyle and Noor Hakim won the 100 Breaststroke. The Slicers finished the meet with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay with: Barron, Hatala, Caviston and Hakim. Shoutout to Madi Griffin for a lifetime PR in the 50 Freestyle.
