Slicers Defeat Plymouth 60-44

The Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Plymouth Friday night, 60-44. The Slicers, playing their first road game of the season, jumped out to a 19-6 lead after the first quarter. La Porte was led by Griffin Ott-Large, who had 25 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds. Reed Raymond added 14 points, 6 rebs for La Porte, while Tim Knoll chipped in 8 pts, 4 rebs, Destin Matzke had 5 pts, 4 rebs and both Preston Scheidt and Sawyer Tonagel had 4 points apiece. The Slicers return to action on Saturday night at home in Slicer gym, hosting New Prairie.
