La Porte 41 Mishawaka 35 Varsity vs Mishawaka High School (41-35) Win Slicers hosted their Home opener for the 2025-2026 Girls basketball season against the Mishawka Lady Cavemen. The crowd was outstanding for the home opener as the girls were excited to play in front of their home crowd for the 1st time this season. The Slicers were able to use their pressure defense to get off to a fast start against the cavemen and never looked back. Inside KeKe Roundtree( Senior) was absolutely phenomenal. She led the game in scoring (14 points) and rebounding (10 Rebs) Down the stretch as the cavemen started to double down on her she was able to find her teammates for open looks and they hit them. Lexi Surowiec( Junior) was a firecracker off the bench leading to 5 steals and hit THREE big 3's down the stretch in the 2nd half for the Slicers. The Slicers were ECSTATIC to win their home opener and the best thing of the night was seeing all Girls run over to our fan base and sing the school song after the big win!
