Varsity vs Kankakee Valley High School (35-40) Loss Saturday Night the Lady Slicers traveled to Wheatfield for a contest with the Lady Kougars of KV. The Slicers got off to a slow start in the first half offensively. Shots weren't falling and the Slicers were careless with the basketball leading to easy points for the Kougars. The Slicers went into halftime down 21-12 Adjustments were made and the Slicers came out with a fire to start the second half! They were able to cut the lead to just 2, before a let down on an out of bounds play for 3. Kougars led 31-26 after 3 The Slicers continued to battle til the last whistle but ultimately ran out of time. The Slicers were led by Keke Roundtree(Senior) 8 points, 14 Rebounds Keianah Hart (Freshmen) 10 points, 13 Rebounds
